Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan, also called"the Queen of Funk, is a well-known American recording artist. Over the course of her career that spans more than fifty years the singer has been awarded a total 10 Grammys. Billboard listed her as the 65th most successful dancer of all time. Her grandmother introduced her to jazz when she was young. Her career began by being in different bands. In the end, she was a part of the group Rufus. She released her first album as a member of the band at age of 20. The group was awarded their first Grammy award a year later. In the following years, she made her debut album an artist on her own. In the following years, she released other albums such as "Echoes from an Era", "The Woman I am" and a song called "Funk It". In addition to her musical contributions, her charitable work has earned her plenty of praise. Chaka Khan Foundation, which she established in order to help those with autism, including children and adults as well as poor families. Khan also works as an actor occasionally. She played the sister of Carrie, as well as the lead actress in "Mama I'm Ready to Sing." Chaka Chaka Chaka
